Instant Indexing

Overview

The Instant Indexing module uses the IndexNow API to notify search engines immediately when you publish or update content. Instead of waiting for crawlers to discover changes, IndexNow tells them directly — resulting in much faster indexing.

Navigate to Prime SEO → Instant Indexing to configure the module.

How IndexNow Works

IndexNow is a protocol that allows websites to notify search engines about URL changes. When you publish a new post, Prime SEO sends a ping to the IndexNow API with the URL. Participating search engines (Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam) then prioritize crawling that URL.

Configuration

Setting up Instant Indexing takes just a few seconds:

Auto-Submit

When enabled, Prime SEO automatically submits URLs to IndexNow when:

• A new post or page is published
• An existing post or page is updated
• A post's status changes from draft to published

Manual Submission

You can also manually submit individual URLs from two places:

• Instant Indexing page — enter any URL from your site and click Submit to send it to IndexNow immediately.
• Prime SEO Dashboard — use the Quick Index feature to submit your latest posts with one click.

Manual submission is useful when you want to re-submit a specific URL or index a page that was published before you enabled the module.

Supported Search Engines

IndexNow is supported by several major search engines. When you submit a URL, all participating engines are notified through a single API call.

Submission History

The Instant Indexing page shows a log of recent submissions so you can track what has been sent to search engines. Each entry includes:

• URL submitted — the full URL that was sent to IndexNow
• Date and time — when the submission was made
• Response status — whether the submission was successful or returned an error
