AI Content Score PRO

Overview

AI Content Score uses OpenAI's AI to analyze your post content and provide a quality score from 0–100, along with up to 3 actionable improvement recommendations. It's displayed directly in the SEO metabox when editing a post.

Unlike traditional SEO scores that only check keyword density and meta tag length, AI Content Score evaluates the actual quality and readability of your writing.

How Scoring Works

When you open a post in the editor, AI Content Score:

The analysis considers: readability, structure (headings, paragraphs), use of data and statistics, keyword relevance, content depth, and engagement quality.

Score Categories

Your content score falls into one of four categories:

Score	Category	What It Means
80–100	Excellent	Content is well-optimized, engaging, and thorough
60–79	Good	Solid content with minor improvements possible
40–59	Needs Work	Content needs significant improvements
0–39	Poor	Major rewrite recommended

Recommendations

The AI provides up to 3 specific, actionable recommendations tailored to your content. Examples include:

• “Your sentences are too long. Simplify for better readability.”
• “Add specific numbers or statistics to increase credibility.”
• “Include more subheadings to break up long sections.”
• “Add a focus keyword for better analysis.”
• “Expand the conclusion — it's too brief.”

These are contextual to your content, not generic advice. Each recommendation is based on what the AI identified as the most impactful improvements for that specific post.

Re-analyzing Content

After making changes to your content, click the Re-analyze button to get an updated score. The new analysis replaces the old one, so you can track your improvement in real time.

Caching & Updates

Scores are cached in post meta to avoid repeated API calls:

• Score is stored after each analysis — saved directly in the post's metadata
• Cached score displays instantly — when you open the post editor, the last score loads immediately
• Cache invalidation on save — when you update post content and save, the cache is automatically invalidated
• Fresh analysis on next load — after cache invalidation, a new analysis runs the next time you open the editor
